It's been a couple of years now I think. My opinion is it's a money making operation that has nothing to do with prestige or flattery. If you check around your school, you will find many others are nominated. I also doubt that this organization would turn away anyone who is willing to fork over the money to enroll their child. Keep in mind the pool that children chosen from for leadership potential in each school differs. There are no defined requirements for nominations, so PLEASE think twice about the flattery implied. Just a reminder about the whole concept of being “nominated”. If you check around your school, you will find many others are nominated.
