Stallions on Hold

We thought we might play baseball this summer with the Stallions team, but some decisions not to play and some decisions to leave the team have left us short.  I’m not keen on scrambling for players at the last minute; that’s why I started this last NOVEMBER - but I guess it still didn’t work.

I don’t blame those that have camps and vacations to go to.  Summer ball is a different breed of cat - you really need additional players because everyone is taking a vacation, going to a camp, going fishing, attending a reunion - whatever.  Completely understandable.

Anyway, looks like we’re too short to make a go of it with Stallions for the summer.  I need to get to work to see if there will be a team in the spring.  I’m not going into another 13 year old year not knowing where we’ll play or with who.  Been there, done that.  It was a mess last time.  I’m not letting it happen again.

On the bright side, there’s 7th grade sports to play coming up.  I hope that’s fun.
